Review: Too much stability
I have had multiple Asics stability control shoes in the past and have never had an issue with them. The problem I had with this particular shoe is that it is designed for someone with a short stride. That being said if you have a slightly longer stride and impact heel first, the overlly flat base in combination with the stiff sole will cause your foot to almost slap down. For me this caused outer knee pain which is the first time I have ever experienced that and have been running for 15 years. A well built shoe but not a good shoe for someone who is looking for decent stability but still wants a little flex in the sole. However would highly recommend for somone new to running who has a shorter stride and needs ALLOT of stability.
